About.

Tom Murry, former chief executive officer of Calvin Klein Inc and the CEO at Venezuelan designer brand Raul Peñaranda LLC, is returning to his Country/Americana roots and his deep love for music. Tom recently spent time in Nashville, TN where he immersed himself in the songwriting scene and recorded with some of the industry’s top musicians. He is fulfilling a life long dream to follow in the footsteps of his greatest influences, such as Johnny Cash, The Eagles and The Doobie Brothers.

Growing up in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Tom began to play the guitar when he was 12. His grandmother bought him a radiant red Les Paul and by age 15, he was already teaching guitar lessons at the local music store. Soon after, he formed the band ‘The Aceman,’ playing the music of James Brown and similar artists channeling the spirit of his distant cousin, Jessie James.

From his rich baritone voice in the title track of ‘Lay Me Low’ to the devotional words of the song ‘Linda’ dedicated to his wife of 48 years, Tom’s music represents outlaw country and a renegade style. Songs from Murry are now available on all streaming platforms.
